 AIM: To provide members with opportunities to share gardening knowledge and

 enjoyment through a varied programme of monthly activities.

 MEMBERSHIP: Any person may become a member on payment of the annual

 Subscription of $15.00 or $25 couple for the year ending 30 June 2021

 MEETINGS: Third Tuesday of each month – unless otherwise stated

 Car pooling: Cost per person for drivers is as stated in the Programme. 

 Bus Trips: Please book through Cheryl before paying Heather (either online or at her letterbox) and they will liaise to ensure everyone has a seat. The Club policy is not to give refunds unless there is a good reason for non attendance.

July 21st - Totara Park Hall Meet 9.30am for "Tea & Talk". Morning tea will be supplied by the Committee. There will be a Raffle. Membership renewals may be made today. The perfect time to meet again and share our own Lockdown experiences!

PROGRAMME - August to December 2020

August 18th -Today is the AGM. Meet at Point Wells Hall at 10.00am for a welcome drink and time to renew membership. At 10.30am the meeting will commence, followed by a High Tea Lunch at 11.30am. There will be a floral art demonstration as you enjoy post lunch sweets and desserts, (Gluten free, Dairy free option available if requested on booking). Bring your favourite tea pot for the Tea Party. Book and pay Heather Barnes $27.00 by August 11th.

September 15th - We will be visiting Mincher Gardens, gardens of International Significance in Coatesville. There are formal and informal gardens, native walkways and waterways with a large Georgian House as the centrepiece. Meet at the Showgrounds at 9.15am for a 9.30am departure by bus. We will have morning tea at the Black Cottage Cafe and BYO lunch. Book with Cheryl and pay Heather $40.00 by the 6th September (which includes bus, morning tea and garden entry).

October 20th - Meet at the Showgrounds at 8.45am to carpool and leave at 9.00am. We will visit 3 gardens in Kaiwaka: Caron Bastable's garden; Don Lawson's Green Space Place and Karen Stewart's large garden. We will have BYO lunch at the last garden and Karen is happy to provide hot water for drinks. Please remember to pay your driver.

November 13th - The Annual Rose and Flower Show, to be staged at the Warkworth Town Hall.

November 17th - Join us for a trip to The Paddocks, a garden of National Significance. Walk around the two acre country garden which includes trees for all seasons, David Austin roses and a potager. There is no cost but a donation would be gratefully accepted. BYO morning tea - take a bag should you wish to purchase anything. Meet at the Showgrounds at 9.30am to carpool. And please remember to pay your driver.

December 8th - The Christmas meeting yet to be decided - by the new Committee.
