 MEMBERSHIP Any person may become a member on payment of the annual

 Subscription of $15.00 or $25 couple for the year ending 30 June 2017

 Car pooling: Cost per person for drivers is as stated in the Programme. 

 Bus Trips: Bookings may be made by financial members at either of the two meetings prior to the trip or mailed to Cheryl Montague, 32 Greens Rd, Matakana 0985 Please Note: Bookings cannot be accepted without full payment which are not refundable. Late enquiries - phone Cheryl - there may be a spare seat on the bus!



Tuesday May 15th: Angrason Gardens. Meet at Shoesmith at 8.45 as the bus leaves at 9am.

We will have a short comfort stop en route for morning tea. Then we go to visit the Angrason

Trust Garden owned by Ann and Graham. We will see native trees and bushes as well as

Maples, Vireyas and Bromeliads which should provide a spectacular Autumnal colourscape.

There will be some plants for sale. Please BYO lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided.Raffle.

Cost $35, payable by May 8th to Heather (4259944/ online/ or letterbox)

Tuesday June 19th: Indoor meeting at Totara Park Hall: Come at 9.45am to the Hall to

enjoy morning tea provided by your Committee. Then, visit L’Infiorata di Noto, (flower festival in Sicily) and take a trip to Los Patios de Cordoba ( Spain’s prettiest flower festival) with our interesting guest speaker. Gold coin donation at the door plus a raffle.

Tuesday July 17th: Mamma Mia part 2: An outing to the movies to lift the mid-Winter blues.

Meet at the Matakana Theatre at 1.15 for the 1.30 movies. Devonshire tea at the MMK to follow. Cost is $20pp. Please book and pay Heather Barnes no later than Friday June 19th.

Tuesday August 21: AGM. Meet at the Warkworth Golf Club at 10am for tea and coffee.. The

business meeting will be followed by guest speaker, Shawn Bishop, from The sanctuary-

Animal Rescue. Donations to the sanctuary will be welcome. A two course lunch will follow.

The cost is $22 ( drinks at own cost) Book and pay to Heather Barnes, 20 Victoria St, before

August 13th. Membership renewal is also due. Raffle

Tuesday September 18th: Scotts Landing Delights. Join us today to visit two gardens in

Scotts Landing. Meet at Snells Beach Tennis Club at 9.30 to carpool. We will then drive to 2

gardens by the sea, Dell of the Boat and Pavlova Paradise. Please wear sensible walking shoes.

BYO Morning tea. Please pay your driver $3 if you carpool. Raffle

Friday October 26th: Marsden Bay Garden Club Show. This is later than usual because

of the show. Meet at Shoesmith at 8.45 for a 9am departure. On our way to the Garden Show we will visit Diana Smitheman’s garden where she will provide morning tea. Diana has lots of mosaics in her garden. She would appreciate gifts of any unusual plants from members instead of a voucher. At 11.30 we continue to Ruakaka Hall where the Show is being held. There will be tea, coffee, sandwiches etc available at $2 per piece. Otherwise BYO lunch. Raffle. We will depart around 2pm. The cost is $20 payable to Heather by 15th October
